Mindjaz Acquires The Decor Loft and decorloft.com







Atlanta, GA September 19, 2004 -- Mindjaz, one of the world’s fastest growing multimedia, entertainment, and interactive companies, announced today its purchase of online home decor retailer The Decor Loft, Inc. The purchase of Decor Loft will close at the end of September 2004 for an undisclosed amount.

Additionally, Mindjaz announced upcoming changes for the Decor Loft brand. This formal announcement comes on the heels of record setting revenue growth for the 5-year old media firm.

“In looking for ways to continue the momentum of Mindjaz’s tremendous growth, and given a clearer focus on what value we want to add long-term for the company, we thought it was a natural progression to incorporate Decor Loft into our new business model, taking advantage of the brands growing presence, and the need to extend our reach,” said Zachary Stroud, Mindjaz’s CEO. “As we look for ways to build our business here in the United States and compete effectively in a very competitive marketplace for media properties with larger global enterprises, it only makes sense to utilize it to the company’s benefit.”

Mindjaz made the decision to acquire Decor Loft after a thorough review of its domestic business operations and expected market share growth. The company also evaluated the prospects of changing the business model for the company, which it plans to release details at a later date.
